Ken Jennings was a software engineer from Salt Lake City, Utah in 2004 when he unexpectedly rose to fame following his six-month run on the quiz show Jeopardy!, when he won 74 games and over $2.5 million. In 2011, he returned to the program to face off against Watson, the IBM supercomputer. He is the author of ten books, most recently Maphead, Because I Said So!, and the Junior Genius Guides. He lives in Seattle with his family and his dog.
