Chris Sams is the current director of BATS Improv’s On-The-Go programs and joined the BATS Improv coaching faculty in January 2005. Chris delights in using improvisational theater technique, theory, and practice as a trainer-facilitator to teach spontaneity, creativity, leadership, storytelling, communication, collaboration, and team building. He has led workplace workshops for more than 50 companies and academic institutions, including UCSF, UC Berkeley, Stanford University, Genentech, Google, eBay, Virgin America, and ZS Associates. A graduate of Duke University, his professional background is in non-profit management. Chris teaches Foundation, Studio Scenework, and Performance level series in BATS School of Improv.
